Yin Yoga Class – online
Let me share with you the wonderful world of Yin Yoga. It is so good and healthy for you to relax completely, and connect with your body. I’ll show you exactly what to do, and how to do it.
This is a 1 hour class. Beginners are welcome.
You need equipment and props (like a yoga mat, pillows and blankets.)
Yin Yoga is my favourite form of yoga, and I love teaching it. There is no standing in this class. We do it sitting or lying down.
In Yin Yoga, we hold the positions for longer periods of time. The objective is to relaxing our muscles completely, which helps the connective tissue to stretch very slowly. In the stillness, you get the chance to observe your breath and the physical sensations of your body.
It is very relaxing, and great at reducing stress. I always feel invigorated afterwards, and my students do too.

- Balances internal organs and the flow of Qi /Prana.
- Increases circulation.
- Targets the connective tissue of your body (e.g. tendons, ligaments, bones).
Equipment you will need:
- Blankets or yoga mat.
- Pillows – the more the merrier.
- Yoga blocks – if you have them or big books can be used.
I encourage my students to light a candle, burn incense and listen to calming music if at home. Do anything to help you relax and enjoy the moment.
